I enjoyed this as I did it, but was dissatisfied with the ending. Maybe it is just me, but it felt like too much of a stretch to expect us to get there on our own. I had everything else figured out, but didn't make the leap to the solution. Felt a little unfair, but maybe I am just a poor loser :P

Thank you for your feedback, we’re glad you still gave it 4 stars despite feeling that way! Please note that this is one of our most challenging cases and requires close attention to detail. We always aim for our solutions to feel logical, so we’re sorry if it felt like too big of a leap for you. If you enjoyed the experience overall, we’d recommend trying A Lethal Fix next since that one is especially strong in terms of logic and reasoning. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!

It was really good and I was getting there but it challenged me which is good. I wonder if its just me or if the breakdown at the end was not detailed enough. I couldn't figure out initially how they got some of the information, but then I worked it out.

The complexity rating of this case is no exaggeration! Unknown Identity tells a thought-provoking story about a talented eSports gamer receiving death threats. I loved that the mystery unraveled in a two-part story, allowing for a more complex narrative. The suspects were memorable—some even unlikeable—and there was a nice variety of evidence to examine. I didn't solve this one correctly, but I had a great time!

Such a brilliant story! I felt like a detective myself, trying to piece everything together. The attention to detail was amazing, and as someone in healthcare, I really appreciated how well-researched it all was. Totally kept me hooked!

I have reviewed multiple mysteries from Ink & Clues in the past and with every new mystery the better they get! Something I really enjoy about this mystery (and others from Ink & Clues) is that once you’ve read all the material, you’re not told where to start. That might sound odd, but so many mystery games are very linear – solve section A, answer some questions, move to section B. Here, you read everything first, get the final questions, then go back to build your own timeline, check alibis, addresses, motives, and make your own notes. It feels much more authentic - like a real detective case with paperwork sprawled across the desk and scribbled pages. That’s what makes these stand out! I really enjoyed the complexity of this game. I did find the case took much longer than the 1.5-2.0 hrs it noted, but this could be because I played solo.
